Openings in 2026

Tickets for Open Days in the first quarter of 2026 are now available.  For details and booking for all these events, see our page on TicketSource.  We’ll be releasing tickets for the remaining Open Days for each quarter about one month in advance.  The next release will be at the beginning of March.

We’ll be running another seven of our ever-popular Guided Landscape Tours of Strawberry Hill Garden and Pope’s Grotto this year, starting in April. As If that’s not enough, we’re working on another joint tour featuring not one but two other local heritage properties as well as our Grotto.  We’ll let you know about these events as soon as we’re ready to offer tickets.

You can be amongst the first to be notified of future events by signing up to our free email list.

It may also be possible to arrange private visits for groups of up to 25 people. As the grotto is in Radnor House School, visits are not normally possible during the school’s opening hours.  Therefore, visits will usually be after school hours, at weekends or in school holidays. In all cases, visits cannot be guaranteed to meet your requirements as they are subject to the School’s permission and availability of volunteers.  Please note that a minimum donation of £100 to the Trust will be requested to cover our expenses and Radnor House School’s staff overtime costs.

Enquiries about arrangements for private visits should be made by contacting us here.

The Grotto is owned by Radnor House School. A map of the School’s location can be found here.

Volunteers

The Trust and Radnor House School are looking for volunteers to assist on public open days and other events. We will be open to the public for more than 30 days a year and a large pool of people will be needed.  If you are interested, please see our Volunteering and Jobs page. No special skills or knowledge are required.
